The Catholic Women’s League of Canada is one of the largest national women’s organizations in Canada. The objects of the League are: to unite Catholic women; to achieve individual and collective spiritual development; to promote the teachings of the Catholic Faith through example; to uphold Catholic values in family life, and education; to enhance the role of women in the church and society; to send Resolutions to all levels of Government for needed changes based on these values.

Our activities are many including: providing bursaries for parishioners’ sons and daughters, for their first year of post secondary education; maintaining a support network for our retired and less active members and parishioners; organizing funeral receptions for the families of parishioners; hosting an annual parish Bazaar, which supports over 25 charities and parish endeavours; hosting a yearly one day Retreat; building friendships!

St Peter’s CWL, the oldest league in the Lower Mainland, has been in existence since February, 1923. We welcome all women 16 years of age and over.

Executive: Patricia Hunt and Fem Muralla (Co-Presidents), Teresa Rehman (Secretary), Alicia Piper (Treasurer)
